Naika Foroutan

Naika Foroutan is Assistant Professor of Social Sciences at Humboldt University Berlin, where she heads the Volkswagen research project "HybridEuropean-Muslim Identity-Models (HEYMAT)." She also works as a freelance analyst for radio and television on topics such as political Islam, politics in the Middle East, migration, integration, hybridity, and anti-Muslim racism.

It provides an overview of demographics, trends, and current debates, with recommendation on how to challenge prevailing stereotypes of Muslims and ensure equal outcomes for immigrants and their descendants.
